Extraneum is a first-person shooting indie game that’s focused on exploration and secret hunting. The objective in Extraneum is to shoot monsters that come your way while you explore and take on secret hunting missions. The story of the game is quite simple and isn’t something that’s completely new. You will have to walk through the Project Extraneum laboratories and get upgrades to your equipment.
Although Extraneum is currently under development, the free alpha demo is here for you to grab and play. We highly suggest giving this FPS indie game a try, especially if you like retro indie games of the 90s and early 2000s. While the game is pretty simple and doesn’t demand much CPU or GPU power, the specified minimum system requirements of the game are as follows.
- Intel i3 8300 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200
- GeForce GT1030 or Radeon RX 550
- 4 GB RAM
If your device has lower specs, you shouldn’t have any problem running the game but the higher, the better as always. As the game is currently under development and we only have the alpha demo, we expect the game to be more detailed. However, many of the things that are featured in the game are expected to be in the full version of the game upon release.
For a fast-paced game, Extraneum doesn’t feature much equips but has what it demands to be full of fun. Depending on your playstyle, the game with what we have at the moment takes about a few hours to finish but it can last less or longer depending on your playstyle. To get the most out of the game, make sure that you grab your upgrades as soon as possible and unveil the secrets of the laboratories of Projec Extraneum.
