These days, modern sandbox role-playing games offer plenty of unlockable skills for players to customize their gameplay. Of course, Ghostwire Tokyo is not an exception, and in fact, it offers many more skills than usual. In total, you will have 68 skills to choose from, and it may be an overwhelming decision for new players.

Therefore, we wanted to prepare this Ghostwire Tokyo beginner’s guide for new players. In the following sections, you are going to learn more about some of the most important skills to unlock. Although it is not a must to unlock them all, we assure you that they will provide you with many advantages throughout your gameplay.

Skills in Ghostwire Tokyo

In Ghostwire Tokyo, all skills are grouped under three headings, and these are: equipment, ethereal weaving, and abilities. Each of these classes can contribute to your gaming experience and let you take your foes down quickly. However, some of these skills are slightly better than most. Here are the five best skills that you would like to unlock as soon as possible as a beginner.

Inubashiri I: Faster Sneaking

If you want to boost your experience point gain in Ghostwire Tokyo, then you need to sneak and perform takedowns. Thus, this skill can help you progress faster and earn more skill points quickly.

This skill will increase your crouching movement speed by 30%. This will allow you to move faster and not easily get bored while trying to move without being noticed. If you enjoy stealth-based gameplay, then this is one of the first skills you need to unlock as soon as possible.

Shinatsuhiko I – More Shots with Wind Charge Attack

It is a fact that the bow is much stronger than ethereal attacks, but the biggest downside of the bow is its slow attack speed. You will receive more damage between your shots, but there is a solution to this problem.

You can use this skill to charge your attacks to make them deadlier and minimize the damage you are going to receive between your shots. It is worth noting that this skill is available under the Ethereal skill tree, and you will need 20 skill points to unlock it.

Daikoku I – Capacity Boost for Consumables

If you often take damage or you are playing on a challenging difficulty setting, then you might need to use consumables to fill your health too often. If this is the case for you, then it may be a good idea for you to invest in this skill.

By default, you are allowed to carry three consumables, but once you unlock this skill, the limit will be increased to five. The skill will require 10 skill points, and you can find it under the Equipment skill tree.

Kukurihime I – Speed Boost with Core Grab

Core Grabs offer extra experience points and ether to players. Thus, anyone who is willing to level up quickly should invest in this skill as soon as possible. This skill boosts the extracted core by fifty percent, which is an amazing number.

However, make sure that you do not stop your pull since you will be vulnerable to attacks. Moreover, it only costs 10 skill points and you can find it under the Abilities skill tree.

Omoigane II – Range Boost with Spectral Vision

Thanks to the spectral vision, you can see hidden items, spirits, and enemies from afar. However, what makes spectral vision amazing is that you can also notice the consumables. Unlocking this skill will provide you with an additional 10 meters of vision, which can be quite useful.

It is available under the skills tree, and it costs only 10 skill points. Thus, you may want to unlock it as soon as possible.

Ghostwire Tokyo is available on Steam with a price tag of $59,99. Now that you’ve read our Ghostwire Tokyo beginner’s guide, you can now buy the game and embark on an adventure.
