Ruined King is an upcoming videogame by Riot Games. Originally titled Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, it’s an indie-RPG game that unites different champions to take on a common enemy. It offers a unique style of combat outside of the Summoner’s Rift which will be a first as even the Teamfight Tactics is in the rift.
While we know not much about the game, Ruined King will boast a unique style of combat, using a turn-based, lane initiative combat system according to the developers.
The same as the League of Legends, Ruined King will feature attacks, lifesteal, armor penetration, critical chance, critical damage, magic defense, armor defense, and have new things such as haste, evade, will, and stamina. Given the League of Legends champions need to adjust themselves for a better suit in the RPG genre, these additions are highly appreciated.

As for the release date, it’s expected to launch towards the end of 2021. Although the game was initially announced in late 2020, there was no announcement on the day it was going to be out. Once Ruined King is released, you can get a copy of it for free regardless of where you play. Since all the games from Riot Games is free, it isn’t a surprise that Ruined King is not a pay-to-win or pay-to-play game.
